Public Management, or Public Administration course as might be called by some Business Schools, is one of the key courses taught at Business Administration Schools. The course will familiarize the student with different themes related to public management affairs in both developed and developing countries. The concept of public management and its scope, historical evolution, governance and public sector, political environment, and its influence on policymaking process, democratic and bureaucratic administration, governmental spending, budgetary decision making, governmental reorganization, institutional corruption are examples of theme that might be investigated under this module.  Case studies and real-world scenarios on public management - on the local and international levels - are very essential in teaching this course.
