Political Sciences Module is one of the main courses in business administration colleges in the world. This course adopts a problem-based learning approach (PBL) in teaching and focuses mainly on essential topics that help students to have a good understanding of Political Sciences Knowledge. This, in turn, will allow students to be able to understand, discuss, and resolve real-world problems with the focus being placed on the Libyan context. This course is aimed at providing a profound insight into political sciences. The target is to shape the students' knowledge. Hence, it will be necessary to explain the development of political sciences, the development of political theory, and political terminologies. Also, it is important to explain the political Practices that shape our daily life and values. Political sciences offer a wide field of knowledge. Hence, this course provides an introduction to political sciences, political practices, values, approaches, philosophies, and theories. This course will cover The formation of the State, the emergence of the modern state, types of state, its obligations and duties towards society and individuals, Comparative politics, the formation of political culture, social and political change, and political participation, Political theory, and ideology, Capitalism, Communism, Totalitarianism and Nationalism -Public opinion and Pressure Groups, Political governing systems and divisions, the separation of Powers, Political Institutions Public opinion, Lobbies, and Pressure groups, the formation of Civil Society, Public administration and public policy and local governing system, International Law, International Relations, International Organizations, Political research methods, Global and Regional policies, Globalization, and its impact on politics.
